This project is a result of my interactions with the Histopathology Laboratory of IRB Barcelona (Institute of Research in Biomedicine). By translating their scientifically used tools into art mediums, I am able to make the “invisible” parts of the human body “visible” and inviting the audience to experience the human cell structures in large scales. Like a google flight or a drone flight, the audience witness a flight above the tissues of cells of the human body such as liver, brain, skin or lung. Even though these tissue samples might seem very graphical, they are in fact very real, nature-made formations in our bodies.
